We have developed an on-going and ever evolving “Special Forces” discipleship program where we mentor and train our 6th-12th grade students for ministry. In this program, these students continue to enjoy the benefits of kids church while learning where they fit in the youth group. They are trained to become responsible, young adult leaders who will never be satisfied to simply sit and watch ministry happen. With dozens of ten week terms of Special Forces completed, we have found it to be the most successful and parent approved program we have done. Special Forces provides spiritual growth and leadership training while tremendously enhancing the effectiveness of our children’s ministry as a whole.
